ReBound Conference – Research Culture Beyond Boundaries

On October 12–13, researchers, research leaders, research managers, and policy stakeholders will come together in Berlin to discuss some of the most pressing challenges facing research today – from research assessment and scholarly communication to academic freedom and international collaboration. The Einstein Foundation Award is pleased to support ReBound 2026, hosted by the Berlin University Alliance in collaboration with the University of Cambridge and the Centre for Science and Technology Studies at Leiden University.

Meet the Finalists Live – Early Career Award 2026

Who will take home the €100,000 Einstein Foundation Early Career Award? Meet the finalists pioneering research quality! Up to six early-career researchers, competitively selected by an international jury from a global pool of applicants, will present their proposals for promoting research quality. Following each presentation, both the jury and the audience are invited to pose questions. The jury will then deliberate and select the winner of the €100,000 award.
