Helena Jambor

Biology

Helena Jambor is an Associate Professor at Chur University of Applied Sciences. She is a biologist and RNA scientist with research experience at EMBL, the Max Planck Institute, and the Medical Faculty at Dresden University of Technology. Her research focuses on data visualization in molecular biology and medicine, and she also works as a trainer and consultant in life science data visualization. She received the 2024 Early Career Award for the team project PixelQuality, which established rigorous image-reporting standards now adopted by leading journals, including Nature, raising research quality globally. She founded and chairs the Image Analysis and Visualization Working Group of QUAREP-LiMi (Quality Assessment and Reproducibility for Images in Light Microscopy).
